V is one tough cookie to shop for. Things have to be just right, and usually, I cannot go shopping for anything without her. Thankfully, there are a few brands that I know she loves and that fit her perfectly. Umi children’s shoes is one of them.
Every season, I can count on Umi having the perfect shoes for both of my kids.
I love their entire fall collection this year – there are some really awesome boots that are both stylish and functional, plus the sneakers are super cute for both boys and girls. I love the dressier shoes for girls, and I only wish the V didn’t have gym 4 days a week (aka the school requiring sneakers be worn) or she would have a much larger collection of Umi dress shoes!
This year, I tried to pick out a pair of sneakers that would work well when dressed up or dressed down. I opted for a gold, white and pink pair that matches 90% of her wardrobe. So far, she has worn these sneakers every day – even on her music day, and with a few dresses!
We also picked out a really cute pair of “high top” like sneakers for E. Unfortunately, I ordered them a little bit too big (I have a really hard time sizing him because he is in between sizes right now) and he hasn’t had a chance to wear them yet. I am hoping that they will fit by the time winter gets here – they look like the perfect sneaker to brave the elements in!
