Almost Time For my Dress Alterations!

I have been so, so, SO busy lately. Wedding “stuff” takes up much more time then I ever anticipated. But that is okay. I am feeling pretty accomplished as I get through my very long list of to-dos. I was very excited because my dress came in a month earlier then it was scheduled. Which is awesome, considering it was supposed to come in just 3 weeks before the wedding, and I had to order it a full size too {Read More}

The Next Step in My Weightloss Journey

I went to the doctor this week to get some answers as to why my throat was closing up. After some preliminary allergy tests, the doctor thinks that I have a walnut, almond and soy allergy. I am waiting to get the results from my blood test, but the doctor did advise that I discontinue with the Cinch program as one of the main ingredients is soy. I am really bummed that I have to quit the program before the {Read More}

As many of you know, I am trying to lose weight and get healthy. I wanted to say “get in shape” but it is so much more then just looking good … I really want to be healthy. To have more energy, feel better, and have a better mindset when it comes to myself. Part of getting healthy includes doing a total overhaul with my eating habits. Like everything else that I decide to do, I hopped online to do {Read More}

Ready… Set… Cinch!

After almost two weeks of VERY anxious waiting, I have officially started the Cinch program as of yesterday, and so far, so good! I am really enjoying it. The shakes are super yummy, and I love that I can eat real (healthy) food while on the program. Part of starting this program, and part of myself becoming accountable, is sharing my before pictures, starting weight, and measurements. This is in no way easy for me to do, but I know {Read More}

#Mamavation Monday {Do We Need Men’s Attention?}

I have had a very busy past week – and a super productive one at that!! I have gone through everyone’s clothes and all of the closets in my house to sort through things we are no longer using. I ended up getting 4 big garbage bags plus 2 bins full of items to donate. It feels so good to not only clear our home of things we are no longer using, and to help those who need it at {Read More}

I need your support!! Please help me become the next Mamavation Mom!!

As I have mentioned before, I am trying to loose weight and get healthy. I have been trying to eat better and become more active, but I am struggling a bit with my progress. My family is very supportive, but they also love me just the way I am so it isn’t always a great motivator to get moving. I have decided that I need to make a change for ME and I really want to be successful this time {Read More}

Slow and steady … but I wish it would pick up the pace!

I have been plugging along trying to loose weight. This is the longest that I have ever stuck with a “diet” and I am feeling pretty confident with the steps that I have been taking to loose the weight and to live healthier. I decided a couple of weeks ago that my original diet wasn’t working. I had a constant headache and was in so much pain that I couldn’t do anything. I decided that it just wasn’t worth it, {Read More}

It’s only day three …

Well, as some of you know, I officially started my weight-loss journey on November 1st. The first three days were pretty easy-peasy as I had to eat all types of yummy, greasy foods. But not I am into the low calorie, super restrictive part of the diet, and I am struggling with it a bit more then I thought I would. It isn’t that I am hungry, because I feel pretty full with what I am eating. I just can’t {Read More}

My new adventure…

I have been unhappy for some time with my weight. I have always never been super skinny, and I am okay with that because I am tall, so I know that it is unrealistic to be stick thin. But I have weighed a lot less then I do now, and I know which body I prefer! Since having E, I have been gaining weight instead of loosing it. While Jay is great and tells me how beautiful I am all {Read More}
