Jay and V love subs. LOVE them — V would eat them daily, and I think that Jay comes pretty close doing just that! He was super excited when Subway came out with the new Tuscan Chicken Melt … and proceeded to describe it to me in as much detail as he could manage.
He described it as “delicious” “really good” and stated that he even liked it with the cheese (Jay doesn’t eat cheese … ever).
I knew that this sandwich must be all that and then some because Jay rarely tells me about what he ate for lunch, and I heard about the Tuscan Chicken Melt three separate times last week. Yup, he had the same sandwich three days last week — and told me he would’ve eaten it all week but he didn’t have time to leave work on two of the days.
