V loves dresses. Actually, I don’t think the word “love” is strong enough to describe her feelings towards dresses. Let me put it this way, when she isn’t listening her (threatened) punishment is that she will have to wear pants for the day! Dresses are a HUGE part of our life here so when I found the Pink Princess I knew that I had found V’s ultimate dream store! Beautiful dresses and accessories for little girls – yup, V was thrilled!
The site is very easy to navigate, and I had the hardest time deciding which dress I liked the best. There were just so many to choose from! I finally decided on a beautiful while flower girl dress – I loved the length (V LOVES long dresses) and the black flowers. This dress is even more beautiful in person!
When the dress arrived it was at the very end of V’s cold. We were just trying to figure out what she would be wearing for her Valentine’s Day party at preschool. She was going back and forth between two dresses, when there was a knock at the door. As soon as the package was opened, V jumped up and yelled “That one! I want to wear that one!”.
V went to her party feeling (and looking) like a princess. She loved the dress so much, and was very proud to wear it to the party. I did make her wear a long sleeve shirt underneath (it was only about 10 degrees outside here after all!), and she paired it with black shoes and a bright red flower in her hair. All of the little girls in her class “oohed” and “ahhed” when she walked in – V beamed from ear to ear.
Since the initial party debut, this dress has become one of the regularly rotated dresses in her “everyday dress collection” (Our name for V’s holiday dresses that she loves to wear daily) and makes an appearance at least once a week.
The dress is excellent quality, and because she wears it so often, I cannot always dry clean it and I do wash it right in the washing machine on a gentle cycle. I hang it to try and it comes out very nice – just like new!
With a huge selection of dresses for all occasions, the Pink Princess has a dress for every little girl in your life!
