Leah, the creator of Peacock Pottery, makes the most beautiful Polish Pottery. She started Peacock Pottery in November 2005, after a discussion with her husband. While trying to find a job and still stay home with her children, Leah was not very interested in many of the franchises and direct sales options available to her. She was very intrigued by her husband’s suggestion to start selling Polish Pottery, and in addition to doing some internet research, she contacted a woman in Poland – and the rest is history! Leah and her husband lived in Warsaw, Poland for almost 2 years, and that is where she developed her love of Polish Pottery.
And I, for one, am very thankful that she did! Leah sent me a Bubble Mug to try and I just adore this mug! It has the prettiest pattern, and the shape cannot be beat. It is a very sturdy mug, but not overly heavy like most larger mugs on the market. My mom gave it a try – she is very particular about mug and cup weight because she has bad arthritis in her hands – and she really liked it. She was amazed at how heavy it looked, but how sturdy, yet light the mug actually was. I even caught her trying to smuggle the mug out of the house! (Sorry Mom, you will have to wait for Christmas!!)
