As I have gotten older and since having children, I have really grown to appreciate beautiful jewelry. Especially jewelry that signifies something important to me – my family. I recently found Of The Earth Jewelry, and I fell in love with their “bird nest” designs.
One thing that I really like about Of The Earth Jewelry is that everything is handmade. But in addition to that, all of the pieces can be customized. There is a wide variety of colored pearls available, you have your choice of metal for your nest and chain, and you can pick the number of pearls in your nest (2, 3 or 4)!
When Randee asked me what I would like to review, I knew that it had to be a nest necklace. And not just anyone would do – I wanted one with the mother bird!
I love the antique gold finish on the wire and chain, and the brass bird is so cute. The pearl colors that I chose were light blue (for E), light pink (for V) and white (for Jay) – and they look so great together. The mother is perched on the top of the nest, resting over her eggs – I love it! I was pleasantly surprised when the necklace arrived – it has an extra length of chain on the end so that you can adjust the length of the necklace and wear it comfortably with different outfits.

Of the Earth Jewelry also makes beautiful bird nest rings, funky gem jewelry (VERY pretty!), initial charms, bracelets, earrings, and more!
