It’s All About That Cinderella Feeling Baby!

I have never felt like I was living a fairy tale more then when I was all dressed up for prom. I LOVED my dress – it was strapless, and had a long, full skirt. It was a beautiful light yellow color, and while I have never considered myself much of a yellow fan, I just adore this dress. I still have it — 9 years after prom — hanging in my closet.

My Cinderella dress!!

I am actually basing my wedding dress on this prom dress. I want the same cut and style. Honestly, I would probably wear my prom dress as a wedding dress if it wasn’t yellow.

Now, liking a dress this much might seem odd to some people. But, I am NOT much of a dress fan. I hardly ever wear dresses, and 9 years ago, I wouldn’t be caught dead in a dress. I was actually nervous about going to prom because I didn’t want to wear a dress.

That all changed when I found my Cinderella “ball gown”.

Every Cinderella dress needs the perfect pair of shoes.

I can tell you this – I did not have a great pair of shoes with this dress. In fact, they hurt my feet and went without them most of the night.

The perfect Cinderella shoe?? A pair of Christian Louboutin “slippers”!
