I love Gift Baskets. Who doesn’t, right? They always look so neat – packed full of goodies, but also really organized so that you can see a little of everything. Plus, I always find a new home for the basket (or tin) when I am empty it out. Have you ever wondered how to make the perfect gift basket? I have – and I have found the answers in How to start a home-based Gift Basket Business book and Gift Basket Basics DVD.
From tips and trick to building the perfect gift basket to actually starting a business and getting it up and running, the Gift Basket Business is the perfect resource for anyone looking for a fun hobby or a serious business.
Both the book and DVD are very easy to follow and understand. I like that the book not only explains everything completely, but also has illustrations demonstrating techniques, placements and more.
I wanted to learn to make gift baskets just for fun, but I found myself interested in the business aspect of the book as well. Shirley provides spreadsheets for you to copy and use, a check list of steps to complete to begin your business, complete shopping lists that you would need to participate in trade shows, resources for shows, products, and so much more. I was very impressed by how thorough this book is.
In addition to the wonderful resources provided by both the book and the DVD, you can also find a wealth of information online on the Gift Basket Business website. If you love gift baskets, and are looking for a new hobby or to start your own business, I definitely suggest that you check it out!

I would like to know how the Gift Baskets are packaged for shipment so that they stay intact for the purchaser. Do you have to use a lot of packing material? How do you keep your postal costs down when your baskets are quite big?
Thanks for the giveaway. ~Pauline
