Kids LOVE to do crafts, and here are a few fun Halloween ones for you to do with your PreSchooler.
My daughter LOVES decorating; any time there is a holiday, we make decorations. Halloween is no exception. Last week, we made a “haunted graveyard” with tombstones, ghosts, jack-o-lanterns, bats, and black cats.

She loved creating out “haunted scene” and she picked where we put each item. V is very proud of her creation! 
Paper crafts are tons of fun for preschoolers. She loved ripping the pieces of green construction paper to make the grass, and being able to color the gravestones was lots of fun for her, too! V just started using scissors (with this project) and was very careful to cut out the triangles for the jack-o-lanterns! She also is getting so much better at gluing things! Her hand-eye coordination is improving with each project that we do.
Get creative and have fun decorating for Halloween!!
Added bonus with this project: a review on shapes and colors! We talked about the shapes used for the ghosts eyes, the pumkins eyes and nose, and the moon. We also cut some “extra” shapes from the papers scraps for extra practice. Colors were also talked about, and instead of asking where the eye was for a pumpkin, I would ask her to “find a small black triangle”.
