Fit2B Featured Review & Giveaway (CLOSED)

I have never been one to exercise. To be honest with myself, I don’t have the time, and the time that I do have I definitely do NOT want to spend it at the gym. With that being said, I have always wanted to try yoga and pilates. But I always struggled with not wanting to go to a gym or “health club” and videos never really did anything for me. They were too long, and I got bored.

Then I found Fit2B Studio on Twitter, and I was immediately interested. I loved that the videos could be accessed from any computer, at any time. I also really liked that if I had questions, comments or concerns, I could contact a REAL PERSON who would know what I was talking about.

So that is what I did. I contacted Bethany (who is a wonderful teacher and so easy to learn from!) and told her I wanted to give her site a try. She helped me set up my membership, which was really quick and easy to do. And within a few minutes I was ready to go.

Well, the site was ready, but I wasn’t sure if I still was. I was super excited to get started and give it a try, but I was also kinda nervous. I had tried videos in the past, and being a beginner, I had always felt really lost and unsure of myself. I was anticipating similar feeling of inadequacy with this program as well.

I was so surprised and VERY happy when I gave myself the push and clicked play. Bethany was such a delight to listen to – her voice is soooo relaxing – and she really explains and shows you how to EVERYTHING. I didn’t feel lost or confused at all during that first video. I was doing what she was saying and I was feeling calm and relaxed, plus I was getting a great stretch – all in the comfort of my living room, while my kids slept.

One thing that I really liked about the videos was that you didn’t have to do each move just one way. Bethany offered variations of each pose for each comfort and experience level. It was great to not feel like I had to give up because I couldn’t do the pose – it really helped encourage me to keep watching and exercising right along.

I was so excited about the video that I did, that I recruited my daughter to participate in a “Kid’s included” video the next day. She had a blast, and was really good at the poses! She has since asked when we can do more “yogo” and poses, and says “You know mom, the ones on the computer… with the other kids!” I love that she is interested and at 4 years old was able to follow along. We both got a fun workout from the same video!

If you are a beginner like me, or more advanced, you will still love the Fit2B Studio videos. Bethany is always adding new material, and the workouts are fun, light and so easy to follow. This is the first exercise that I have done that doesn’t feel like a chore!

About Bethany:

Bethany is the main instructor and the one that you will be following along with in the videos. She really knows her stuff and is certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Bethany has been teaching classes since she was 18 years old, and has a love for choreography and rhythm that contributes to her flowing, joyful style in all the content that you will find on Fit2b.us. Once Bethany became a mother, she decided to lessen her work load outside of the home and focus on her children, while still doing what she loves – teaching fitness through yoga and pilates.

I would LOVE a membership to this for mutiple reasons… the first one being that I knew Bethany wayyyyy back in the day when we used to go to youth rallies together.
    2) I am a new stay at home(11 months new) mom to a, you guessed it, an 11 month old and am having a hard time losing the baby weight.
I think Yoga and Pilates would be a great way to get more flexible and a bit better in shape before we try having any more children; not to mention the added bonus of being able to do this at home where I don’t have to worry about asking an instructor to “pause” for a second while I go change my baby’s blow out diaper!!! lol
THanks for doing the give away!

I am a stay-at-home mama of two little girls under the age of 5. It is really hard for me to get out to go workout at a gym. I have done yoga in the past, so this sounds wonderful. I could access this early in the morning or late at night when the girls are sleeping and be warm in my home doing my workout. Thanks for giving us the chance to win this!
