With Earth Day fast approaching, I thinking about the choices that I make everyday and how to provide a cleaner, healthier world for my children to grow up in. Now don’t get me wrong, it is not just Earth Day that focuses my attention on these matters, it is just that with so much going on with attempts to live a greener life with a smaller carbon footprint sometimes fall to the back burner. Thankfully, there are companies that make living a greener life possible – Ecover is one!

I had the chance to try out the Laundry Wash HE and the Grapefruit and Green Tea dish soap.
Let me start out by telling you about the Grapefruit and Green Tea dish soap – I LOVE it! The scent is fantastic, it actually makes me want to hand wash my dishes. It is an extremely effective dish soap, and with just one squirt you can make it through a big sink full of dishes. I often use dish soap to wash my hands when I am in the kitchen (even more now that this soap is so yummy smelling!) but I have had to stop in the past because of the harsh, drying effect that it causes to my hands. The Ecover dish soap is different – it doesn’t dry out my hands at all!
The Laundry Wash HE is great. With a very tiny cap of detergent I am able to clean a huge load of wash – even Jay’s gross, greasy work clothes. They come out super clean and fresh smelling. I am very particular about laundry detergent; both myself and V have super sensitive skin. Neither one of us has gotten any type of skin reaction or irritation from this detergent. I am very impressed by the high quality.
I can honestly say that Ecover will be a constant presence in our home, and I feel happy knowing that I am using a product that is not destroying the Earth. We all have to do our part, and Ecover makes it just a little bit easier!
