My daughter has been loving her Nintendo DS. And to be totally honest, so have I. I absolutely love to play video games and spend just as much time playing on my own as I do playing with her.
When we had the opportunity to check out the DaGeDar Nintendo DS Game, I will admit, I had never heard of it before. I asked my daughter if she had, and before I could even finish my question she was very excitedly explaining the game to me.
Needless to say, I gave the okay and she anxiously awaited its arrival.
About the Game:
Each DaGeDar holds a unique “spirit within” that offers advantage to the player during each race. Using sharp reflexes players do battle in a game of speed and skill as they race their DaGeDar ball to the end of a virtual raceway. Each raceway is composed of lanes that loop, drop, climb and bank – but also contain blocks and gaps that will knock the player off their game.
- 100 basic DaGeDar balls to unlock and choose from; each ball carries abilities of Acceleration, Top Speed, Defense and Attack.
- Single or Multi-Player game play, with 2 balls in play at a time.
- 50 fast and furious raceways.
- Typical race time is 2-3 min.
Playing the Game
This game has found its way into the DS game rotation. V plays this game frequently, and she is very good at it. I love that she can play it on her own, so it is perfect to take in the car or if she needs a quiet activity while I am putting her brother down for a nap, etc.
With so many levels and different balls to play with, this game offers hours of fun. It is not one that will get boring after a few tries. I have played this game a few times with Little Miss and on my own. I find that it is a lot of fun – especially if you like racing games…. which I do! The DaGeDar game is rated E for everyone, and I completely agree; I enjoy playing this just as much as my 5 year old!

I think my youngest son would enjoy this game!
My daughter & I love to play video games. So when the Nintendo DS went on sale I got us one to share! So I would ultimately be winning this for both of us. It sounds different from anything I’ve played so that in itself will be a challenge.
