It’s no secret that my kids love to craft. We find ourselves doing at least one type of project a day, and more often then not, my kids can be found drawing, coloring and creating. I love it. I love that they are so inspired, and that they let their imaginations fuel their projects.
When we had the opportunity to to review some of the craft kits from Creativity for Kids, I was super excited. I knew that my kids would love them.
They were thrilled when I opened the box and they got to see what was inside.
We received a Fashion Headbands kit that V had been eyeballing for quite a while. She was bouncing up and down with excitement over it. She was only slightly swayed from her fixation on it by when she saw the Deluxe Glitter Art kit. E was exited for all of them, but could hardly contain himself when he realized he could paint with the Mossy Meadows Gnome Garden kit.
The first project that they decided to do was to make some boxes out of the Glitter Art kit. There is so much included in the kit that the kids could hardly decide what to do first. They both decided to make a box!
E had a blast – he loved the glitter glue, and went a bit crazy with it
V is a bit more controlled with her crafting. She is very focused, and wanted to make sure her project is perfect. Unfortunately, when I was moving it to a safe place so that it could dry, I dropped it, and it got smushed
She was super bummed, but assured me that she knew it wasn’t my fault and that it still looked okay.
V has big plans for the headbands, and plans to craft them to match her new school clothes
We have been enjoying all of our craft kits, and cannot wait to check out some of the other ones offered by Creativity For Kids.
