Having breastfed both of my children, I am very much aware of the lack of convenient nursing covers available. Most completely cover the baby, making it hard (especially for first time mothers) to see what you are doing. Aside from that, one of the best things about nursing your baby is the wonderful bonding time that you share. This is hard to accomplish when your baby is covered with a blanket.
What is the solution you ask? The BabyBond Nursing Cover! It is so different from any nursing cover that I have seen on the market, or used myself, and I am very happy with the difference.
The BabyBond Nursing Cover comes in three different styles; the original, the flex, and the couture.
BabyBond Original is worn with shirts that are accessible to nurse from the top and has a built-in burp-cloth and matching pouch storage pouch. BabyBond Flex is worn with shirts that are accessible to nurse from the top and has a removable burp-cloth and matching pouch storage pouch. BabyBond Couture is adjustable and can be worn with shirts that are accessible to nurse from the top or the bottom, and it rolls up into itself to store.
I chose the couture model in a beautiful dark blue color. I really liked that the couture model was more versitle than than the others. I wear a lot of sweaters in the winter, and it isn’t always feesable to nurse from the top of my shirt, making it even more awkward having to expose my stomach.
The couture cover can be worn either over your shoulder and across your chest as a sash, or it can be worn around your waist, and your stomach to cover your belly when you need to pull your shirt up.
Overall, this was the easiest and most convenient nursing cover that I have ever used. E seemed to enjoy not being covered by a blanket when we were out, and I loved that it rolls up into a compact enough “roll” that I can toss it into my purse and still have room for the rest of my stuff.
