A Fun Way To Share Your Facebook Photos

I love to take pictures. I have tons of photo albums and picture boxes full of memories, and the kids and I will pull them out every so often to have a peak. But lately, I have been so bad about printing them out and actually getting them in the albums. I get them on the computer, upload some of my favorites to Facebook and then… nothing. It has been ages since I have ordered pictures.

I love having the memory books, but I just don’t have the time to organize them like I want to.

An Easier Way Has Arrived

PhotoPad is a new Facebook app that takes all of the work out of sharing and preserving your memories. You can easily create photo books, eCards, and post cards to share with your family and friends, or to just save for yourself.

When I first loaded the app, I took a few minutes to take a look around and figure out what to do with all of the different hearts that are displayed. It did take me a minute to figure out that I could select one to post on my Facebook wall, fan page or send one to a friend. I ended up sending one to my mom, and was super surprised to see that it was actually an animation when it posted to her Facebook page! What a neat way to say “hi” or “I love you” to someone. In addition to the hearts, there are a large selection of animations for special days including father’s day, to say good luck, and happy birthday.

I also decided to make a quick photo book. I have been wanting to put all the Christmas pictures together in an album for months now. PhotoPad made it so easy for me to pick and choose my favorite pictures right from my Holidays 2011 album on my Facebook page!

The photo book was very easy to customize. I could pick the number of pages, the background and layout for each page. Plus, there were “stickers”, shapes and speech bubbles available to embellish the page. And the option to add text. I also really like that I can share my creation with my friends, or I can keep it private.

Stop by the PhotoPad facebook page and get inspired before checking out the app for yourself!
