E loves to watch movies. Even when they are movies of TV shows. Holding the DVD case is part of the fun, and he gets super excited when it is his turn to pick from our mountain of movies.

So, I decided to share some of his favorites with you.

These five movies have been his top picks this month … He occasionally switches it up, but we all know these ones in and out because he watches them so much.

1.) Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs – I actually had to buy this one because after watching it on Movies on Demand last month, he was DEVASTATED when they stopped running it this month. Plus, it was costing me a small fortune to rent it every other day (at $2.99 a pop!) that I figured I would go the more economical route. It has already been watched 3x what I paid for it.

2.) SpongeBob SquarePants {any season, movie, show} – E is a huge SpongeBob fan, and we have a pretty large collection of SpongeBob movies. His most recent favorite is the “Ghouls Fools” DVD… He just loves The double episode, Ghoul Fools, plus The Curse of Bikini Bottom episode! And there are 5 others on there too! It is 88 minutes of spooky SpongeBob fun.

3.) The Fresh Beat Band “The Wizard of Song” – The Fresh Beat Band is another of E’s favorites. He loves all the music and dancing, and he always sings and dances along. This movie is also one of my favorites. The Wizard of Oz was my favorite growing up, so it is so much fun to see it re-done for preschools. Plus, there are two bonus episodes on the DVD.

4.) Bubble Guppies “Fin-Tastic Fairy Tale” – This is the CUTEST movie!! Bubble Guppies are cute as it is {and they have the greatest songs. Love the “Time for Lunch!” song} and this TV movie is full of magic, fun, and of course, a mean witch. When they beloved Bubble Puppy is turned into a frog, Molly and Gil team up with famous fairy-tale friends to save their pup and the world from the witches mean green spell. Great music, and a super fun story line. E just loves this movie!

5.) Alvin and The Chipmunks “Meet the Wolfman – E has been super obsessed with Werewolves lately. He loves them, and often pretends to be one! When V suggested they watch and Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, he was beyond thrilled by the one that she picked. He has requested this movie almost daily since first seeing it. Between a spooky new neighbor, a brother (Theodor) that gets turned into a werewolf, a mean bully, a school play and Alvin’s monster madness — this movie is fun, musical, and full of {spooky!} surprises!

Well, there you have it. E’s current top movie picks :) Have you seen any of them?

What are your top picks for preschool movies?

My 2.5 year old loves Alvin and The Chipmunks “Meet the Wolfman“. Pretty sure he’s watched it on Netflix at least 5 times this summer. He also likes one of the Rugrats movies (can’t remember the name of it).
