Spring break, rainy days, and long summer vacations will be here before I know it. My kids have about a 50/50 chance of figuring out what to do on their own, and they spend the rest of the time saying “I’m bored” and asking me what they can do.
I have decided to prepare for the seemingly unavoidable phrase “I’m bored” and I’m taking my inspiration from this month – which is National Craft Month – to start my planning.
Here are craft projects that are perfect for little ones (preschool and early elementary aged)
Painted Rock Pets
Glowing Glitter Wishes in a Jar
Air Plane Magnet
Colored Rice Rattle
Hand Print Lamb
Rainbow Ice Ball
Chinese New Year Dragon
Sign Language Valentine’s Day Card
Pony Bead Suncatcher
No Sew Bean Bags (and a great game to play with them: Rhyming Game)
Easy Peasy Friendship Bracelets
Homemade Play Dough
Quick and Easy Salt Dough
Make Your Own Crayons
Enjoy and Happy Crafting
